DONCASTER ROVERS: KEEGAN WANTS NEW DEAL

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Paul Keegan has admitted his frustrations at being on the sidelines for so long this season.

The 27 year old, who has made just twelve appearances for Rovers since moving to the club from League of Ireland side Bohemians in January, is determined to overcome his recent setback and force his way into the starting lineup.

"It's frustrating being out especially when results haven't been going well. We were losing games and you want to be involved and influence things. I'm keen to get back sooner rather than later."

"With only having a one year deal it's important that I make an impact and I need to get back playing, especially with a new manager and staff coming in. You want to get out there and show them what you can do, you want to impress."

Keegan had a second operation recently on a knee problem, but is currently stepping up his recovery.
