The 32 year old has struggled for first team appearances this season and itching to get started at Banks' Stadium, "Playing matches is what I need right now and Walsall is a good place to do that."
"I expect to come here and win football matches, hopefully this will rub off on the players around me and we can start as we mean to go on tomorrow."
Wilson has been restricted to just three substitute appearances this season but will bring a wealth of experience to the League One club. He has turned out for Swansea City, Wrexham, Middlesbrough, Livingston, Tranmere Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday, amongst others, in the past.
