The 19 year old scored twice in three starts for the Stags during a similar spell last season and is expected to go straight into their squad for the game against Fleetwood Town this afternoon.
Mansfield boss Paul Cox said, "Louis has caught my eye on a number of occasions when I have been watching Stoke City's reserve games."
