Tranmere Rovers manager Les Parry is looking into the possibility of extending Jose Baxter's loan spell with the club.
The 19 year old has impressed in his performances for the League One side so far in his loan spell and Parry is keen to keep him at Prenton Park for a longer period.
"I'll be having a word with David [Moyes, Everton manager] this week and seeing what his thoughts are. I think they sent him out purely to get some games under his belt to be ready for them, so whether we're able to keep him is doubtful."
Baxter has scored twice for Rovers since making the move from Everton last month.
