SWINDON TOWN FC: DI CANIO TALKS HAMMERS

Swindon Town boss Paolo Di Canio hopes that more of West Hams young charges will follow in the steps of Cristian Montano and Ahmed Abdulla by switching to the County Ground.

Abdulla has made six appearances for the Robins this season and Montano signed up with the League Two side this week on a one month loan deal. Di Canio say the link between the two clubs is of mutual benefit.

"We are preparing for the future here. It is good to have this relationship with West Ham because it can be crucial for a club like Swindon. We can form a very good side with young players.

Di Canio has acquired a series of players on loan from higher league clubs this season, namely Jake Jervis from Birmingham City and Liam Ridehalgh from Huddersfield Town.
