BRENTFORD FC: BEES RECOGNISED FOR JPT PERFORMANCE

League One side Brentford have been handed the 'Team of the Round' award for their performance in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy against Charlton at the beginning of the month.

Goals from Kevin O'Connor, Toumani Diagouraga and Blair Adams helped the Bees to a 3-0 victory over the Addicks, and manager Uwe Rosler says the club will continue to take the competition seriously as they progress through the rounds.

"We take this competition very seriously and we aim to go as far as we can this time round and hopefully go one better than last season."
