SHEFFIELD UNITED: BLADES ACCUSE OS FAN

Sheffield United say they are considering whether or not to issue a formal complaint to the Football League after midfielder Matt Phillips was allegedly spat at by a Leyton Orient fan at the weekend.

Blades boss Danny Wilson told BBC Sheffield, "I'm sure we'll find out who it was who spat in Matty Phillips' face. It's absolutely disgusting. We'll look at all the evidence and lodge a complaint."

United claim an Os fan approached the Blades' technical area after the final whistle on Saturday and spat at the player.
