AFC BOURNEMOUTH: CHERRIES EXTEND PETERS LOAN

Ipswich defender Jaime Peters has agreed an extension to his loan deal with League One's Bournemouth.

The 24 year old will now stay with the Cherries for a second month, something Ipswich boss Paul Jewell says he is content for the defender to do, "Jaime is playing games and that is why he has gone to Bournemouth. He is happy to stay and we are happy for him to stay."

Speaking to Bournemouth's official website Peters said, "I'm really pleased to be staying for another month. I know the two clubs were in negotiations and I'm glad they could come to an agreement. I feel like I've settled in well and have been welcomed by all the lads here."

Peters has made five appearances for the Cherries this season and manager Lee Bradbury has been impressed with the right back's performances so far.

"We've been pleased with how Jaime has done since he joined us and we were keen to extend his loan. I'm sure with more playing time he will continue to improve and we will see what he's really capable of."
