ROTHERHAM UNITED: GOOD NEWS FOR MILLERS SKIPPER

Rotherham United captain Ryan Cresswell has received some good news today after it was revealed he will not require surgery for his injured ankle.

The 23 year old has been out of action since sustaining ligament damage last month and was expected to undergo surgery this week to repair the injury.

Despite the promising news Millers boss Andy Scott says it is not a clean bill of health for the centre back, "There were some fibres and ligaments torn from the bone but the rest of the structure is pretty good. It's still not a long term solution though, at best it's going to be another four weeks until he is fit and available again."
