NANTWICH TOWN: KIDSGROVE MAN SIGNS UP

Tom Urwin has completed his transfer from Kidsgrove to Nantwich Town.

The eighteen year old leaves with the blessing of his former manager Peter Ward, "Nantwich had put in seven days notice of approach for Tom, but we only talked about it after the game at Boston. Tom had the weekend to think about it and, while I am sorry to see him go, we would not stand in his way of bettering himself."

"He is a class act and I believe he will go on from Nantwich. He is only small, but is talented, quick, likes a tackle and works his socks off. Tom came to us last year and is a great lad who has been no trouble and has been an asset to the team. He has handled himself impeccably, so the door is always open."
