Carl Ikeme will not be returning to Middlesbrough after an agreement was reached between them and his parent club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 25 year old sustained a finger injury in training and with his loan spell set to end on November 1st it has been decided that he will remain at Molineux to fight for a first team place.
Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray spoke to the club's official website, "He kept five clean sheets on the bounce which is quite an accolade. We wish him well and thank him for his contribution."
