The 25 year old has been rewarded for his fine form this season that has seen him notch five goals in ten appearances so far.
Nunez enjoyed a productive spell on loan with Scunthorpe last season, scoring three times in eight outings for the Iron, a string of performances that saw him promoted to the Leeds first team as the current season began.
"Leeds is the club that gave me an opportunity and I'm happy here. It's all about concentrating on my football and working hard to get into the team." Nunez said after inking the deal.
