Reece Wabara, currently on loan with Ipswich Town from Manchester City, says he would like to extend his spell with the Championship club.
The 19 year old will remain at Portman Road until January but says he is not against the idea of staying until the end of the season if it means he will be better placed to break into the first team at Eastlands next season.
"I'm 19 now and my ambition is to play. If I'm playing and I'm doing well, there's no reason why I can't extend the loan."
"I think the manager [Roberto Mancini] and coaches have great faith in me, hopefully I can pay back some of that faith. To be around those players, if you can fit in there you can fit in pretty much anywhere in the world, so you just learn what you can off them."
The youngster has made just one appearance for Ipswich, coming on as last minute substitute against Brighton & Hove Albion in their last league outing.
