GREENOCK MORTON: TIDSER MISSING FOR NEXT SIX WEEKS

Greenock Morton have confirmed that their midfielder Michael Tidser will be missing from the first team for the next six weeks as he undergoes surgery on a knee problem.

The 21 year old requires an operation to clean up the damage and Morton boss Allan Moore is eager to have him back in the team soon.

"Michael's knee needed a bit of a clear out and that means that we will be missing him for up to six weeks. We missed him during the 5-0 defeat by Partick Thistle but if we are still top of the league when he comes back I will be pleased."
