CREWE ALEXANDRA: CONNERTON MOVE OFF

Crewe youngster Jordan Connerton has pulled out of a loan switch to Nantwich Town because of an ankle injury.

The 21 year old sustained the damage in training this week forcing him to renege on the deal. Manager Dario Gradi however expects the move to be resurrected when the young striker is fit again.

"Jordan had agreed to join Nantwich on loan but then got injured in training. He went over on his ankle yesterday and the deal was put on hold. Nantwich were all ready to complete the paper work in the afternoon. I'm sure it is something that will go through once he is fully fit because he did well for them before and needs games."

In other loan news from Gresty Road, young defender Andy White has extended his spell with Evo Stik Northern Premier side Stafford Rangers for a further month.
