Felix Healy, Finn Harps' director of football, had no complaints following the dismissal of two of his side's players in their clash with Cork City last week.
The Harps went down 5-2 to 3rd place Cork and ended the game with nine men.
Healy accepted the red cards issued to Stephen O'Donnell and Keith Cowan, "The sending offs killed us. If Stephen looks back at the challenge he probably shouldn't have made it, although maybe on another day it might've been a yellow."
"For Keith's second caution, well I don't think he did himself any favours. When already on a yellow there was no need to do what we did."
O'Donnell and Cowan will miss the game with Longford Town on Saturday.
