The 21 year old was dismissed in the clash with Plymouth Argyle in the 91st minute after challenging young Pilgrims' striker Isaac Vassell.
A comment on the Daggers' official website from Steve Thompson said, "John Still and his management team watched the match video yesterday. They believe the decision to send Damien off for 'denying a goalscoring opportunity' to be wrong and we will be contacting the FA requesting that the red card is rescinded."
