Celtic could be about to seal a deal to bring former Everton and Motherwell striker James McFadden to the club.
The 28 year old, currently a free agent after his Birmingham City contract expired in the summer, has spent time training with Wolves and Brighton in recent weeks but the Scottish Premier League side are looking to tie him down to a permanent contract.
McFadden sustained cruciate ligament damage last season but has now recovered and is just lacking in match fitness.
