The 19 year old had featured in eleven games for the Blues, scoring eight goals before his initial loan spell ended this week, an agreement is now in place to keep him at St Andrew's until January 5th.
"I'm very pleased the loan has been extended. I've settled in really well here and all of the lads, who are a great bunch, have really taken to me." Wood said.
City boss Chris Hughton was pleased an agreement had been made, "We are delighted the loan has been extended as it's one that has worked very well for the player and for the club. Hopefully Chris can continue in the same vein as he has done so far."
