The items, including footballs and goalposts, were taken from Somerset Park last week and the club believe the incident could have a detrimental effect on the club's academy projects.
"It is a huge blow to the academy which is a charity formed to provide footballing activity in the local community. Every attempt will be made by academy staff to ensure that the services continue to be delivered but additional funding will be required if the equipment is not found or returned."
