ALFRETON TOWN: LAW SAYS MONEY NO EXCUSE

Alfreton Town manager Nicky Law says his players should not use the fact that they are taking home a smaller wage packet than some of their Blue Square Premier opponents as an excuse for performing poorly.

Chairman Wayne Bradley spoke following the departure of Andy Holdsworth recently of the strict wage structure that is in place at the club and Law says the players must get over that and improve their performances.

"We live within our means, that is what we do. But it's not about the money, it's about players."

Alfreton are 22nd in the division after a run of just two wins in fourteen fixtures.
