Worksop Town have announced the sacking of manager Martin McIntosh after a dreadful start to the new season.
A stament from the club read, "We can confirm that we have today parted company with manager Martin McIntosh and his assistant Phil Thompson. The club would like to thank them for the hard word during their time with the club and wish them well in the future."
McIntosh and Thompson leave the club in 20th position in the Evo Stik Northern Premier having taken just six points from their opening ten league fixtures. The former Rotherham United defender, McIntosh was appointed the Tigers boss in 2010.
