Thurrock will play Championship side West Ham next week in a re-scheduled friendly game.
The meeting was initially planned for pre-season but the Hammers asked for it to be re-arranged.
Thurrock chairman Tommy Smith said he was looking forward to the clash, "The thing is it's an international football week so this gives soccer fans the chance to see West Ham in action just up the road from them. We're expecting a lot of people; mums, dads and youngsters to come along."
"I've been told that they will bring a senior eleven along, so I imagine that it will not be the kids. But there will be plenty of Hammers names that fans will recognise." He continued.
