The 18 year old is a towering 6'5 and Hawks boss Shaun Gale says his side will look to utilise that strength.
"He is big and strong and will give us some different options. There is plenty of pace in our side and we have been getting a lot of balls into the box without anyone attacking them. The lad may be a bit raw but he has bags of potential."
Palmer has enjoyed loan spells with St Albans and Boreham Wood over the last two seasons.
