Former Sheffield United youngster Jordan Slew was in a confident mood as he discussed his start to life as a Premier League player.
The eighteen year old signed for Blackburn Rovers during the transfer window in a deal believed to be worth around £1 million and and is eager to get his first Premiership game out of the way.
"I definitely believe I can be a Premier League player. If I didn't, I wouldn't have come here. I'm high on confidence right now, I feel good and I feel I've got a good chance of playing."
"I want to fight for a first team spot. All I can do is keep working hard in games and training, and score goals in matches, and hopefully the gaffer can see that and put me in."
Slew featured just eleven times for the Blades before he was snapped up by Steve Kean in August.
