The midfielder, a summer signing from Accrington Stanley, helped the Iron to a 2-2 draw with Walsall on Saturday but felt they maybe could have come away with three points.
"Having come off the bench I'm obviously delighted to get the lads a point, we've done well all game and deserved a point on the day. We're always going to be disappointed not getting the three points, but I think that the lads are happy with the way we've played, we've passed Walsall off the park."
Ryan has made five starts for Scunthorpe this season, coming off the bench twice.
