Bedford Town have confirmed the return of former manager Nick Platnauer, this time as assistant boss to Adrian Hall.
Platnauer's first took charge of the Eagles in 2004. He lead the team to promotion to the Blue Square South in 2006 but left the club the following season as they were rooted to the bottom of the table.
Bedford currently find themselves in 16th position in the Evo Stik Southern Premier and Platnauer believes he can help Hall turn things around, "Ady's been in management a long time and knows it's about organisation and discipline and if we are singing from the same hymn sheet there's a chance to turn it around quite quickly, or I would hope so."
He makes his return to Bedford Town after leaving his post as assistant manager of Hinckley United last month.
