ROTHERHAM UNITED: SCOTT NOT OUT TO MAKE FRIENDS

Rotherham United boss Andy Scott has revealed he has only one aim this season and it isn't making friends.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, Scott reiterated his desire to take the Millers up as champions from League Two and his refusal to let anything stand in his way.

"I don't care if I fall out with people. I want to win the games and get promoted. If I fall out with people, then at the end of the season when we are celebrating and have got a medal around their neck, I'm sure they will forgive me."

Scott's comments come after he slammed his side following Saturday's game with Dagenham & Redbridge despite a 3-1 victory at the Don Valley Stadium. In his post match interview he expressed his disappointment at the overall performance.

"It was a 35 minute performance, but it got us through. I thought that in 35 minutes we were outstanding, but for the other 55 minutes we were poor. And that is only because we didn't do in those 55 minutes what we did in the first 35."

"I have spoken to them for 10 minutes in the dressing room and told them it wasn't good enough and I'm not happy with it. We're joint top of the league, but standards have got to be better than that."
