Rangers have confirmed that they expect defender Kyle Bartley to be missing from first team action until late October.
The former Sheffield United centre back suffered a groin injury in Rangers' game against Inverness recently and medics have now given him a return date of October.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Rangers' director of football Gordon Smith said, "Kyle has a hernia problem and we expect him to be out of action for between five and six weeks."
It's not yet known whether the twenty year old will require surgery.
