Manager Gardner Speirs was disappointed for the young defender who had made an impressive start to the season, but assured fans there was adequate cover in that position.
"It is disappointing to lose Darryl for a couple of weeks, however Peter [Bradley] showed on Saturday that he can add value to our squad. He has had to be patient since joining but he started well at centre half and grew stronger as the game went on at left back."
