The 20 year old was subject of a transfer deadline day approach by League One's Sheffield United, but the player's registration didn't come through in time resulting in the move collapsing.
Hutton managed fourteen appearances for the Ranfers first team last season and will be looking to his stint with Partick to gain invaluable experience.
