NOTTS COUNTY FC: NELSON PLAYING IN THE MOMENT

Notts County's goalkeeper Stuart Nelson says he is taking each game as it comes as he celebrated his 30th birthday on Saturday with a clean sheet for the Magpies.

The former Brentford and Leyton Orient shot-stopper is keen to remain between the sticks for the foreseeable future, "Every day I play, I feel like I'm improving and as soon as I stop I'll be asking questions why."

"I came into the game late, turning pro at 23 or 24. I'm a late developer and I'm always learning my game and the last few years, I feel I have learnt a lot."

"I'd love to be playing when I'm 40 but you never know what's around the corner."

Nelson is the current number one at Meadow Lane, keeping the younger duo of Rob Burch and Liam Mitchell at bay.
