MAIDENHEAD UNITED FC: MAGPIES YOUNGSTER IN FINE FORM

Maidenhead United boss Johnson Hippolyte has revealed that on loan striker Lee Barney is making a name for himself in Evo Stik Southern League Division One, where he is currently playing with Beaconsfield SYCOB.

The 18 year old has notched eight goals in eight games for the Rams and Hippolyte is keen for the youngster to continue his development, "Lee Barney is highly rated by everyone at this club. But he needed a few months, maybe a year playing every week to progress."

"He needed to go and play against grown men who are kicking lumps out of him, and he's doing that now. I spoke to Byron Walton [Beaconsfield manager] and he's delighted with him."
