Luton Town have taken Hayes & Yeading midfielder Jamie Hand on loan until December with a view to making the move permanent in the next transfer window.
Hand, a former Watford and Chester City player, impressed Luton manager Gary Brabin after he played against the Hatters last month.
"He is an excellent passer of the ball and can break up play, he's just what we're looking for. He's got great pedigree, is only 27 and has experience of playing at a much higher level."
The midfielder made his debut for the Hatters on Saturday against Darlington and was thrilled to get the first game under his belt, "Obviously, you go out there and there's six or seven thousand fans screaming and shouting. It's great at Hayes where you've got 200 to 300 passionate people but when you walk out here it feels like you're in a proper game of football."
"I think in the last year and a half my performances have spoken for themselves and that's the reason the gaffer has signed me. I just want to play the way that I've been playing and I don't intend to change my game."
Hand picked up a booking in the game at the weekend meaning he will miss the Hatters' trip to AFC Telford tomorrow night.
