The Elland Road club were linked with a host of of forwards during August including Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz, however manager Simon Grayson has denied that 20 year old Ranger was on his wanted list.
"It's simply not true. Nile was one of a number of players who we were aware of his availability during the transfer window, but we brought in Andy Keogh a few weeks before so we were not looking at other strikers." Grayson said.
