HINCKLEY UNITED: JOHNSON IN THE FRAME

Hinckley United look set to take Simon Johnson from Solihull Moors in time for the midfielder to feature against Droylsden tomorrow.

The 28 year old has masses of experience having played for no less than eleven clubs including, Leeds United, Sunderland, Doncaster Rovers and Bury.

The Knitters boss Dean Thomas said, "I'm hoping to sign Simon Johnson in time for the weekend."

The two sides are rivals in the Blue Square North. If the move takes place, Johnson will be leaving a team propping up the league for Hinckley in 15th position.
