The 20 year old has linked up with Blue Square North side FC Halifax and will be hoping for a longer spell with the Shaymen than his time at Mansfield.
Wood featured just once for the Stags in one month at Field Mill, finding appearances hard to come by following the arrival of loanee Ben Futcher.
