GALWAY UNITED: CARETAKER BOSS ANNOUNCED

Galway United have confirmed that John Brennan will take charge of first team affairs in a caretaker role after Sean Connor's contract was terminated at the weekend.

Brennan oversaw his first Galway game this evening, a 2-2 draw with Dundalk, and will continue in the role until the season's end in October.

'Jumbo' as he is affectionately known has previous coaching experience with Salthill Devon and the Galway United A side.
