The former Plymouth Argyle man spent time with the Magpies in Pre Season and impressed manager Ashley Vickers, "Ollie did ever so well in pre season but we did not have the finances to help him travel from Plymouth."
The 19 year old currently plays between the sticks for Bideford but Vickers is hopeful of coming to an agreement with his club, "We have kept in close contact with him. He's fit, he has a very professional approach and he has a great attitude as well."
Chenoweth played in the youth team at Plymouth Argyle but failed to make a first team appearance.
