DERBY COUNTY FC: BAILEY OUT FOR THREE MONTHS

Derby County midfielder James Bailey looks set to be out of action for the next three months as he recovers from a fractured ankle.

The 22 year old sustained the injury in training over a fortnight ago but results from a series of scans have now confirmed the extent of the damage.

The Rams' physiotherapist Neil Sullivan commented on Bailey's injury, "James has a ruptured ligament and a small fracture in his talus bone in his ankle joint. He needs to allow the bone to heal for four weeks before he can fully weight bear again, and then he can progress with his rehabilitation work."

Bailey had featured in all of Derby's league fixtures prior to suffering the injury.
