Dartford boss Tony Burman espects striker Charlie Sheringham to attract the interest of teams higher up the footballing pyramid.
23 year old Sheringham has impressed in his outings for Dartford and Burman doesn't think it will be long until he's turning out for a league club.
"Charlie's performances at the end of last season, and again this, probably warrant people looking at him, and I will be pleased for him if that happens. He has been excellent, and has great ambitions about going back into the pro game one day."
Sheringham, the son of former Manchester United and Tottenham striker Teddy, began his career in the youth set up at Millwall before moving to Spurs on a one year contract. Moves to Ipswich Town, Charlton Athletic and Crystal Palace followed, but the forward never managed to break into the first team.
It was at Welling United where Sheringham had his most prolific spell, scoring 26 goals in all competitions during the 2008/09 season. He has been with Dartford since last year and has managed 19 goals in 29 appearances for the Kent side.
