Coventry boss Andy Thorn has expressed his delight at the performances of the club's youngsters this season.
Gael Bigirimana and Cyrus Christie, both 18 years old, have started all league fixtures for the Sky Blues this season something that Thorn is very proud of, "The boys have been excellent and the young ones have grown in stature as well. You're watching them in training now, and you forget because of the standard they are at the moment just how young they are."
The duo are keeping established players out of the team, something Thorn welcomes, "At the start of the season when they went in people said it was a gamble, and possibly it was. In fairness I had no other options and that was the route I went down. They have nailed places down for themselves now, and it's up to people to shift them."
The games this season are midfielder Bigirimana's first taste of competitive football, Christie, a young right back, made one substitute appearance last season for Coventry in the league cup.
