The 29 year old has agreed a two year contract with the Addicks and revealed he turned down offers from other teams to reunite with his former coach, "I had a number of offers from clubs in France, but during my time at Leicester City, I had an excellent relationship with Chris Powell."
Kermorgant started his career as a youngster at Stade Rennais, however his spell with the French club was cut short when at age fourteen he was diagnosed with leukemia. He subsequently moved to Vannes, Chatellerault, Grenoble and Stade Reims before coming to England 2009 to sign with Leicester City.
