The 25 year old broke his ankle during a game against Aberdeen in August and initial reports said he would be on the sidelines until at least February, Iizaguirre however has other ideas.
"The operation went really well and I hope I could be back for Christmas. For me, it is a motivation to recover and get better soon and win my place back."
