ST MIRREN FC: LENNON LOOKING AT TRIALISTS

Danny Lennon [St Mirren boss]  has confirmed he has offered a contract to a defender but is keeping quiet on the name of the player in question.

Chris Doig and Ilias Haddad had been on trial with the SPL side and is thought that one of them has been given the opportunity to remain on a short term contract, "The player has agreed to that offer but until things are signed, sealed and delivered, you never know."

If everything goes to plan the mystery player should play in St Mirren's game with Hibernian at the weekend.
