Sheffield Wednesday look set to miss out on the loan signing of Leicester City striker Jeffrey Schlupp.
The Foxes' manager, Sven Goran Eriksson has declared a interest in keeping Schlupp at the Walkers Stadium following his performance in the league cup win against Rotherham United, in which the 18 year old scored a hat trick. Eriksson said, "I can understand their interest but I think we should take our time on that decision and give him some more time with us. No doubts, he has a great future, so I am not sure we should let him go out on loan now. We can wait a little bit."
Schlupp spent time on loan at Brentford last season, scoring 6 goals in 9 appearences.
