The Latvian has signed a three year contract with the Royals and is hungry for more promotion success, "Obviously my goal is to get back to the Premiership again and hopefully I can help Reading achieve that goal."
Despite added two defenders in the last week Royals boss Brian McDermott is still on the look out for prospective signings, "We have to keep looking, and we certainly will, that is important. We've brought two players in, they will helps us, and if we feel there's something else we can do before the window ends, we will."
