Thorne started his career with MK Dons' youth team, upon his release he signed with Forest Green Rovers and enjoyed a decent one year stint with the club. After that he spent time with Newport County, Kidderminster Harriers and Rushden & Diamonds before signing with Braintree Town and helping them in their promotion push to the BSP.
The young defender will want to help steer his new club away from the wrong end of the table, Bedford currently reside in 19th position.
