21 year old Grant is a midfielder, he has joined up with Margate after being released by his former club, Dover Athletic. Ashley Groombridge plays in defence and participated in all of Margate's preseason matches.
The duo impressed boss Chris Kinnear enough to secure contracts and will look to help the side improve on their opening day draw with Wealdstone on Saturday.
