HULL CITY: BULLARD CONTRACT TERMINATED

The long winded saga involving Hull City and Jimmy Bullard has finally come to an end after the midfielders contract was terminated.

It has long been suspected that Bullard would leave the Yorkshire club, due in no small part to the size of his wage packet however from comments leaving the club today that does not seem to be the reason for his departure "I can confirm that the club has given notice to terminate the contract of Jimmy Bullard."

"Mr Bullard has a right of appeal and it would be inappropriate to make any further comment at this time that might prejudice this process," the clubs chief executive Mark Maguire stated.

Bullard was suspended by Hull during the summer after an incident at the clubs training camp in Slovenia, he had previously spent time on loan at Ipswich during the 2010/11 season.
